Korean Air showcases AI-powered UAV and advanced air

mobility vision at Drone Show Korea 2026

– Korean Air is showcasing its next-generation aerospace capabilities at Drone Show Korea 2026, Asia’s leading drone and advanced mobility exhibition, held at Busan Exhibition and Convention Center (BEXCO) in Busan from February 25 to 27. At this year’s event, Korean Air is presenting its vision for the future of aerospace, featuring artificial intelligence (AI)-powered unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and advanced air mobility (AAM) technologies.

Korean Air’s presence at Drone Show Korea, which brings together organizations from 23 countries, highlights the company’s growing focus on physical AI and smart mobility innovation. Korean Air’s exhibition booth features a striking two-story design, with interactive technology displays on the first floor and a dedicated networking lounge on the second.

The exhibition is organized into two main zones:

Drone Zone: The centerpiece is the domestic debut of the AI-powered subsonic UAV developed in collaboration with U.S. defense tech pioneer Anduril Industries. The zone also features AI-powered multi-purpose UAVs, loitering munitions, communication relay drones, and aircraft Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) capabilities based on drone swarm technologies.

AAM Zone: Visitors can explore Korean Air’s proprietary AAM operations and traffic control platform, ACROSS (Air Control and Routing Orchestrated Skyway System), and a mockup of an electric vertical takeoff and landing (e-VTOL) aircraft from Archer Aviation, the company’s strategic partner in AAM.

In addition to the exhibition, Korean Air is hosting a series of technology seminars. On February 25, the company will present its UAV capabilities and technology roadmap, followed by a joint AAM seminar with Archer Aviation on February 26, along with memorandum of understanding (MOU) signing ceremonies with global AAM partners.

“Drone Show Korea provides an important opportunity to demonstrate Korean Air’s expanding capabilities in AI-driven software and next-generation aerospace technologies,” said a Korean Air representative. “We remain committed to evolving into a world-class comprehensive aerospace company by continuously pushing the boundaries of aviation innovation.”
